Last year, the machinery sector in Kazakhstan produced 5.7 trillion tenge ($12 billion) worth of goods.
The volume of freight transportation between Kazakhstan and Russia reached 15.2 million tonnes in the first two months of 2026.
Output in the sector has demonstrated steady growth, increasing from 358,000 tons in 2023 to 619,000 tons in 2025.
